Over the past three years I have been studying BA Design at Goldsmiths, University of London where I have been honing in skills like Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography while exploring and developing new skills such as publication design, user interface design and web development. When it comes to design I am a true generalist. But over the last couple of years I have found my projects focusing more on digital product design and my final year project is a web development project around creating a GIS (Geographical Information System) website depicting the evolution of London’s parks and Open Spaces! (Check it out here!). What I have loved about this project is the opportunity it has given me to explore the full stack of making a digital product. From concept creation, designing the product using Figma and then actually building it using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It has been a real insight into the power of what a digital product can be. I am excited to further develop my digital product making skills and hope to do this proffessionally soon!
